On May 14, 2026, Gary's Surf School and Sessions Travel agreed on a partnership that would hopefully bring awareness and benefits to both brands. Both of us are dedicated to helping beginners feel the sensation of surfing and enjoying mother nature — that is why we agreed on this affiliation in the hope of more mutual exposure. Guided by the same principles, the partnership felt like a natural fit from the very first conversation.
A relatively new name within the surfing community, Sessions Travel aims at providing resources for beginner surfers to experience other cultures through surfing — developing their passion for the love of the sport and nature itself. The longest-running surf school in South Africa, Gary's Surf School has been a fixture on the Muizenberg beachfront since 1989. Owner and founder Gary Kleynhans spent the last 35 years sharing the stoke of the ocean with thousands of students — from wide-eyed beginners to returning families who come back year after year.
